I began the favoritelinkscentral.com website, out a necessity to work from home, due to a disability. I
am trying to provide an easy and convenient way to browse and shop the Internet from the
convenience of your computer. I originally attempted employment with telephone call center services,
but due to my limited ability to type, I was unable to meet the minimum volume of calls require from
many services.
I searched the Internet for other legitimate work from home ideas and found nothing worthwhile.
There are a lot of sites that just want your money, and many are scams. I ran across one website that
wanted me to invest about $500 which would guarantee me a website with one or two links to popular
stores. The ad also gave the impression that I would be rich beyond my wildest dreams and make
tens of thousands of dollars a month. I made the call, and soon realized that what I was hearing was a
lot of garbage. The salesperson practically insisted on a credit card number to charge my account.
Fortunately, I was able to resist the pressure sales tactics.
I did a little research on my own and found out it was fairly easy to join multiple linked websites at no
cost. Since I have a little knowledge of computers and the Internet I decided to try it on my own.
Hence the creation of this website. What I found out right away is you don't make tens of thousands
of dollars each month, you won't become rich overnight, guaranteed you'll probably give up before
you make much money at all, and it's a lot of work running a website. .There is an enormous amount
of competition on the Internet. Every site you see including a lot of blogs and social websites compete
for advertising dollars. Every news site, search engine, sports site, weather site, business and
entertainment space competes for your money.
What I've tried to do in creating this site is to provide a service to people to make it easy to shop
online. We are so inundated with useless or unusable information when we try to search for
something on the Internet, it can become very frustrating. I am always trying to add new information
to my site and always appreciate any suggestions for further improvements.
So like many entrepreneurs and business people I will continue to plug along and try to make a profit.
